UPDATE 5.9.2018
There are new screenshots in the twitter apology as well, please check it out
Okunome
came back at me after 2 days of waiting and we had the following conversation
Click HERE to viewPlease read the description of the sta.sh folder
Her motives were selfish, she admitted that she used me for the chance of profit and to show off.
It saddens me to see that she would just throw away a 2-year long friendship for such a shallow reason, she only got 15 bucks out of it. She refunded me the money at least but this doesn't change the fact that I'm devastated and sad about this broken friendship.
I really hope it was worth it.
A couple of users started to message me about similar issues they have had with Okunome. Turns out it was not the first time she put the value of money over her friends, who had helped her to work on illustrations she, later on, sold again without credit, nor a share of profit, on conventions.
I have proof of that saved too if you're curious please DM me about it, as I do not want to lose focus of this journal with multiple other stories included. I just want people to be aware of her doings up until now.
And I want you Okunome to change your ways. It was not the first time you did such kind of unspeakable rude things to your friends, but please let this be the last.
It's not too late for you to change.
She apologized to me and is currently apologizing to those affected. I wont forgive her just yet, I want to see actions following up her words but this is indeed a step in the right direction, so I hope she'll stick to her words and will show how she changed over the course of time.
The
user Okunome (her
twitter)
from the
group was
caught selling (or) giving away a Print of her OC Roxxie featuring the clothes of my OC Yume
which she
had no permission to use in any commercial way nor anything else outside an experiencing artwork in private.
On 23th of August Okunome – who was a friend of mine during the time –
asked me for permission to draw their OC Roxxi in my OCs (Yume) Outfit for an experimental artwork with
no (early)
mention or intention to use
for anything commercial reason. Since it wasn't the first time friends asked me for permission to draw these kinds of artworks and there haven't been any issues with this in the past with any of my friends ever,so
I granted her (okunome) permission and received wips of this image.

She kept me updated and I was really excited to see the finished artwork.
The
situation changed when the
artwork was uploaded without credits or any mention/tag of me or my OC, who's outfit Roxxi was wearing, only leaving the description "Decora Nurse Roxxi" as you see below. She never asked for permission to upload it on any side but certainly, I was
extremely upset to not receive any credits nor any kind of mention that this isn't Roxxis outfit at all.
My Ocs are kept private and she knew about this, therefore asking me for permission to post it at all would have been appreciated. It also should be common sense to mention people if you're using their oc designs/outfits in your artwork in any way. She did credit me in the past for an outfit that was inspired by yumes, even though she didnt had to,so why not doing it again this time where she was required to do it?
She
only started crediting me after I specifically asked her to do so, and she only added credit after this piece had over 100 likes on instagram, meaning people saw it and potentially thought that this was fully okunomes creation. My worries got confirmed when I
received a note (see above) of a follower
warning me about stolen content due to the lack of credits on her other social media, where she also uploaded this artwork.

Since I sadly missed the chance to make a screenshot of the twitter upload, I can' provide a screenshot proof for that.Someone happened to make a screenshot of her twitter post and sent it to me, so I included it now and as you can see, she announced to sell it at her con.
Regardless,
please keep reading since my statement will be confirmed later.
On the twitter link, however, she wrote:
"Prints of this will be available on crunchyroll
expo table 450" Proof of her being at the conventionI was shocked.
"Wait. Prints? She's selling it?" and felt forced yet again to
confront her a second time. The outcome of our conversation was that
she promised me to not sell the art at this convention and also freely suggested to remove it from her portfolio which was yet something I didn't give her permission to do. After she apologized,
I believed the problems would be solved but I didn't know yet
how wrong I was.
On the 2nd September the real problems started once I got messaged by friends who currently visited the Crunchyroll convention.
I found out that
she was – despite her promising me NOT to sell or use the prints – to
openly advertise this print on her table and
selling it for 15 USD. In order to avoid her denying it, my friend also made a picture to show me although it's usually forbidden.
Once confronted again, okunome stated she doesn't sell them but only giving them out freely for any 25USD worth purchase.
After being lied to so many times and the
contradicting statements, I don't know anymore what to believe.
All I can
fully confirm is that she was
advertising this print yet again with no credits and stated the
price of 15 USD when my friend pretended to be interested in buying it. This isn't only extremely
disrespectful but also – in my opinion – morally wrong to use someone's trust, especially of a friend, lying and
making a profit out of the ideas of others.

On the same day, I confronted her again about this situation, openly expressing my disappointment and broken trust in her. Instead of being honest,
she continued to lie to me and at a certain point
even stopped replying to any of my text messages.
Only now, almost 2 days later, I
checked her twitter for this journal and where
she apologized for selling the prints. This doesn't only proof that
she was lying to me but also that
was indeed selling them at the end, as stated in her apology and that my other friend only told the truth.

* Turns out
she didn't even
write the apology,
someone from the Banmoku Crew did.
While I appreciate their effort to help out their friend, they don't carry any responsibility whatsoever it is Okunome's fault not theirs and she should have come up with a statement, not them.
As much I want to forgive people, I can't do it in this case. It's one thing to be used by a stranger but it's unbelievable painful if a friend does it for no other reason than pure profit. Especially after I was being lied to multiple times.
There is
not a personal apology towards me nor any promise to me that this kind of situation may not happen again in the future. I still have no reply of hers in our private chat.
The sold prints can't be undone, I can't contact any of the buyers nor can I be sure that they actually read this apology.
There is literally nothing I can do and leaves me with a broken friendship, lost trust and the knowledge that people spend money on stolen content, believing it fully belongs to okunome.
By posting this journal I hope to make people more aware of this situation and maybe let this be a lesson to others who might have experienced the same as me. Please be careful who you allow using your OCs (outfits) or any of your created content. Don't trust others easily and please check if they stand to their words.
Despite the whole stressful situation, I still wish her
no harm and I'm not disappointed at anyone buying this print since they couldn't know it wasn't allowed to be used in any commercial way. In case you know someone who did happen to buy this print, please show them the journal and let them know about the owner of the outfit, maybe they can get a refund out of it.
That aside, I repeat;
please don't bully or harm the mentioned user in this journal, by doing so you go against my wish.
Thank you for reading
